State:

Town/Suburb:
 Rotorua
Specific Track Location:
If coming down from Auckland and the Bay of Plenty, follow the road signs to Rotorua. Just keep heading into town, through a series of round abouts until you come to a left turn at a big round about to the redwoods. Continue up this road for about 300m and take the turn off at the sign displaying the redwoods park activities. Go all the way along til you get to the visitor centre (clearly visible from the road). Go in and buy a $5 (NZ$) map of the riding area, hop on your bike and go nuts!
Track Description:
A wide range of tracks, mainly flowing single track of varying degrees of difficulty. The difficulties are clearly marked at the start of the track. Most tracks are one way which is great because you have the confidence of knowing there will be no head ons! The other cool thing is that most of these tracks are designated for push bikes, so no nasty, multi trail user collisions either. Almost all the tracks are designed for all level of rider, so no matter what the riders ability, the will have a hoot! To increase your fun simply increase your speed and add track jumps and styling spots to taste.
Other Information:
This place is awesome! I am an Aussie over here on holiday and I would consider living here just because of the Redwoods riding. The tracks are so well thought out and so much fun, it almost seems dream like. FORGET WHISTLER! If you are into hammering down a smoothe and insanely fun trail, get here.
